Meal Prep

Starting to improve my diet at first was challenging since I had to decline certain foods I had loved all because I wanted to improve myself but I thought of it as a positive thing and tried my best to have better meals and prep meals for myself so I could feel more accomplished that I'm doing something good for myself.  Along with improving my diet I have to start eating breakfast which I skipped before to now ensure that I would have energy for the morning as well as helping me throughout the day because my body wouldn't be running on just lunch. Besides meals like breakfast lunch dinner and healthy snacks in between I would need to start making protein drinks for myself that would help my body run positively rather than just make my body more fatigued from how rich it was causing me to gain weight.

My diet has change drastically, I went from eating at McDonalds and other types of fast foods or just snacks around the house, but then I started to mostly only eat home cook meals or at healthier food places like sushi, poke or chipotle. After that I started to finally cook for myself and I started to meal prep a bit from getting my own groceries and following cook books from popular chefs such as Gordan Ramsay, but I made some tweaks to fit my healthy meals for the day. Like Gordon Ramsay said "Being healthy isn’t just about eating the right foods, it’s about balance—enjoying what you eat and making it work for your lifestyle."(6).
